5th Event Registration is Open! We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for our fourth event at Corning Airport Temporary Kart Track on Friday, September 15, through Sunday, September 17 of 2023. Go to the online registration menu and follow the link to register for the event.
The IKF is back, and the Northern California Sprint Kart Series is born. This season the series will take you to 5 exciting locations filled with different characteristics with the intent of challenging all of us to bring out our full potential as racers, meet new competitors and take you on the road for some great racing. The International Kart Federation as a whole and Prairie City’s very own Donald Durbin Jr. are excited to host a strong, well organized, fun and competitive regional series that takes you to new places and introduces you to some of the best competitors up and down the state of California and into Southern Oregon.
The IKF NCSKS will offer 2 days of racing and official practice on Friday. Trailer move in will be available Friday morning with official Practice offered from 12pm to 5pm. Saturday will consist of 2 rounds of practice, Qualifying and heats. Sunday will host the pre-final and Final allowing for lots of racing yet an early departure with racing complete at 2pm. Your Tires, spec fuel for all 4 stroke and 2 stroke categories will be included with your race to make things simple while planning for your race, just bring your kart and well take care of the rest. With full support from Vendors, Teams and major suppliers participating at each event such as Leading Edge Motorsports, Cambrian Go Karts, GFC, CNR, Speedsense Motorsports, Nevada Kartsport, Step Up Karting, Unleashed Power, Cashed Out Racing, Trackside Racing Engines, RLV and VLR, PKS,Ron White Racing, and many more you’ll be sure to get the parts, support and advice from all the pros at the event, and all of them have the ability to transport your items to the races which might make it a lot easier on you.
SKUSA has stepped up and is offering FREE SUPERNATS entries to the winners of the KA 100 categories and 125 shifter category. The IKF NCSKS series will prove to be a great choice to compete in for a direct PAID path the the biggest race of the year, the SKUSA SuperNationals. With our series ending on a completely custom temporary track in Corning Ca it will be the perfect way to prepare for that big race..
We are pleased to announce that Southern California’s Mike Smith will be on the microphone at each event calling all the action as well as engaging with the drivers on and off camera, Mike is a very accomplished racer as well as commentator and will bring a lot of excitement to each event while keeping the energy high and engaging the paddock. Mike will also be in charge of the Pre and Post race write ups and editorials as well discuss the highlights of each event and following the points battles.
